Constance R. Sherrod

Constance R. Sherrod is a licensed attorney and the founder of CRS Law Firm Management Consulting, Inc. After practicing law in solo and small law firms for over 15 years and noticing the trend that most solo and small law firms did not have the law firm management tools available to them or the time to learn and understand the process to take the next steps to grow their law firms. She decided to start CRS Law Firm Management Consulting, Inc. to fill the void. As a law firm management consultant, Ms. Sherrod works closely with her clients to develop a strategic plan to develop their V.O.I.C.E. Ms. Sherrod takes a holistic approach in helping solo and growing law firms find and develop their Vision, Operate in their values, be Intentional in their purpose, Care about their people and Embrace technology to help grow their practice. She formed CRS to provide fractional COO, fractional CFO, and fractional HR services to solo and small firms to fill the gaps and provide the tools and guidance needed to take their firms to the next level.

Attorney Sherrod graduated Summa Cum Laude from North Carolina Central University, where she was a scholar athlete and member of the women’s basketball team. Prior to transferring to North Carolina Central University, Ms. Sherrod attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, where she was member of the women’s basketball team and also a member of the 1999 National Championship Team. In 2022, she was inducted into the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame as a member of the 2022 Silver Anniversary Team.

After graduating from North Carolina Central University, attorney Sherrod attended DePaul University College of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Illinois and has been admitted to the United District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

When she is not in the office, Ms. Sherrod is usually spending time with her husband and two young children. She enjoys watching sporting events on television and live. In the summers, she enjoys hanging out on the lake and attending the many Chicago neighborhood festivals with her family. For 15 years, she volunteered as a basketball coach for middle school girls with the not-for-profit Fellowship of African American Men (F.A.A.M.) in Evanston, Illinois.
